Here is our new thread ladies (Nikki, Andrea, Kristian, Marissa...and whoever else will be starting at MC this fall).

Just finished working on my top 3 choices and it was alot tougher than I thought it would be.

As far as clinicals go, what teachers are you guys signing up for at Shady Grove and MGH?

I think I'm gonna sign up for:

Robinson @ Suburban 7am-5:10pm

Mansir @ MGH 3pm-8:10pm

Knopp @ SG 3pm-8:10pm

Love that watch too Nikki! :)

I'm eyeing the afternoon options at MG and SG

Hi girls,

Nikki, sorry you're not feeling well. Let us know what the doc says.

Andrea, looks like you have plenty of purple/plum watches to choose from.

I chose-

1.) M,W: 3-8:10 SG w/ Knopp

2.) M,W: 3-8:10 MG w/ Mansir

3.) W: 7-5:10 w/ Odubayo

4.) W: 7-5:10 w/ Robinson

I haven't seen any reviews for Odubayo. Does anyone remember seeing reviews for Knopp?

This was really hard to do. My husband works night shift from 8pm-6am so he sleeps during the day, usually until I wake him up around 3 or 4 but he'll have to wake up much earlier now that I'll be in school, which he knows and is okay with but I still want him to have ample sleep before watching our 4-year old son all afternoon. My mom gets home from work around 5:30 and has agreed to help with dinner and putting my son to bed on the nights I'll be at clinicals or class late, as long as it's no more than 2 nights a week. She has also agreed to take my son to school 1 day a week if necessary (she works full time), so I'm very grateful for that help. So I'm trying to make my schedule in a way that I can drop my son off AND pick him up from school MOST days. Schedule #3 would be the worst because there would be 2 days during the week where I would not be able to pick him up. I hate the thought of my husband having to pick up our son from school at 1:00 if he's only had about 5 hours of sleep but we'll have to make do somehow. I REALLY hope I pick a good number at lottery...at least good enough to use my 1st or 2nd schedule.

Kristian, are you planning 4 options?? It was hard enough for me to make 3! Lol

Crap, I just thought about something. What if I have to combine some of these schedules? Like what if they have the clinical and 1 of the classes I want, but not the other 2 classes or something like that? I'm gonna have to look at these more carefully to make sure I'll be able to mix and match.

My son gets out of school at 1 and I'd have to be in class by 2 on Mondays and Tuesdays of my first choice schedule. I wonder if that's enough time? His school is in Rockville but literally 2 min away from I-270. It usually takes me about 15 minutes to get home in no traffic (which there shouldn't be any at that time); then another 10 minutes to get to school from my house, not including parking and walking. I'll be cutting it close I think...

I like the second option too because I'd be getting all 3 classes done in one day. Gggrrrrr...I'm just not sure what I want...

I have 5 options for clinical and 3 options for class schedule. I was just thinking about having to combine...I chose mainly Mon. for classes.

You have a lot to juggle around!

I'd be stressed about having to rush.

I emailed to confirm my packet was received and I got an automated email: out of office until tomorrow.
