Montgomery College, Fall 2011, 1st semester students

Here is our new thread ladies (Nikki, Andrea, Kristian, Marissa...and whoever else will be starting at MC this fall).

Oops, I think there are ladies and men's versions of this model. Model # for the one I have is 72969L (in case you're interested), but not finding it on the Wenger site.

Sorry for all the posts!

Did you find it on eBay? I like that it has both standard and military time right on the face of the watch, but I think I would like to get a rubber/silicone band. I'm going to keep looking and see what else I can find.

Yes, got it on ebay.

Andrea posted a link for one with a rubber or silicon band a while back-could be on our other thread.

Have fun looking around!

I finalized my 3 choices. All 3: a schedule to have classes and clinicals 3 days a week, the remaining 2 days will provide some flexibility for additional lab time and other school related items and still have the weekend for other things.

Nikki, nice watch. I don't see any details about the band. Does it have a silicone or rubber band? Andrea's going to love the color.

You guys dropped your packets in the box with the piece of paper on the front that said "Health Records" and something about writing your M number, name, and course number on the paperwork, right? It was just inside the office for the nursing program, on the wall to the right, with a table below it. I asked the person at the desk if that was the correct box and she said "yes", but I'm double checking because there was also a box (with nothing on it) just outside the door to the nursing program offices. I saw Prof. Matthews while I was there. So funny to see her without her white jacket on.

I wrote Montgomery College TP/SS Campus, Nursing Dept., Fall 2011, Attn: Dianna Matthews, Health Packet for... I put my packet in the box hanging outside the dept. door (office was closed then). Andrea mentioned seeing another box inside the office when she dropped hers off. I'm guessing the box inside the office is used during open hrs and the one outside is for drop-off when closed. You packet should be in the right hands.

And yes, I wrote my name and M# on the top margin of each paper/form.

The woman at the desk told me to just write it on the outside of the envelope, but that in the future, we would need to write it on each form. I'm trusting what she said, but I'm sure it's fine either way.

I'm sure it'll be fine. Plus, we should get an email or a call if there are any issues. I'm going to bring a copy of all the papers to registration, in case something gets misplaced.

Specializes in Future CRNA or Nurse Practitioner.

Awww Marissa! You're so sweet :) No matter what you decide for this semester, I am sure I speak for everyone when I say we all definitely want to keep in touch with you! And I'm so glad to have had the opportunity to get to know you!

Also, I dropped my packet off in that same box. I was going to put my name and M# on each paper but then she said if I have an envelope, I could just write it on the outside so that's what I did. It should be fine; and I'm sure we'll get a call if they think something is missing or not right with our packets.
