Montgomery College, Fall 2011, 1st semester students

Here is our new thread ladies (Nikki, Andrea, Kristian, Marissa...and whoever else will be starting at MC this fall).

Yes, they did.

I think I've seen nurses wear that style watch as well, Nikki. I'd like to get one that has both the standard and military time.

I already know military time. I used to work in a restaurant and they went by military time, so I don't know if I really need that feature. I am thinking a digital watch would be better for precise seconds counting, like when taking a pulse and such.

I was also reading older posts on here about watches and many said that a silicone band is best becuase there is less risk for bacteria, infection, etc. I guess these are becoming more popular too...

I read on another thread that one girl bought a digital watch but wasn't allowed on the floor until she had an analog watch with a second hand.

I'm not sure which program she was in.

On our uniform info sheet it states a watch w/ a sweep second hand or digital second counter.

This is the model I have:

Marissa, it has both standard and military and lots of other features.

interesting. Does our packet of info give specifics on a watch?

oh, nevermind. Thanks Kristian.

Hmm, I've never heard of Wenger before, but I like the way it looks. Reminds me of the Tag Heuer watches, albeit much more affordable. :)

No problem.

FYI, the model that I have is categorized as a men's watch but the face/dial is actually a really nice size for a women's wrist.

Yeah, and I got a great deal on it- around $86.
