Here is our new thread ladies (Nikki, Andrea, Kristian, Marissa...and whoever else will be starting at MC this fall).
I haven't decided on taking my laptop for classes. I suck @ typing anyway, much faster writing. Also, I don't want it to somehow grow legs and walk away lol! I read that one student had her Cardio III scope stolen by a doc. at her clinicals!
I was looking at the Timbuk2 bags. Looks well made and will prob. last many years. I have a briefcase/laptop bag w/ wheels but not sure if I want to use it. I tried to use a reg. backpack one semester and it was so cumbersome and weighed a ton...well, I stuffed w/ everything too...big mistake.
Kristian, I've been going to MC for 2 years and have never seen any lockers anywhere. But I've never been in the Health Sciences Center or anywhere on that side of campus, so I guess it's a possiblity that they may have some but I'm figuring probably not.
Nikki, as much as I think the backpack on wheels would benefit my back I couldn't see myself wheeling one around campus. Don't forget that any stairs you'd have to take, you would be carrying the bag up them and if you're used to pulling it on wheels all day it could be a huge shock to suddenly have to carry it up a huge flight of steps!
I looove this backpack, but it pains me to think of spending that much on one!
Thanks for letting me know Andrea.
Nikki, I like the backpack you chose. Thanks for posting the links for youtube.
I've been comparing prices on scopes and other equipment/supplies and I'm tired of calculating all the different costs trying to get a bottom line. At this point I may get everything from one place; really want to get it out of the way.

My messenger bag isn't plaid though. It is a Fossil from the Key-per line. It is a beautiful deep berry color and is quilted. I fell in love with it in the fall and got it as a bday gift. Unfortunately I wasn't able to use it long becuase it hurt my shoulder. I shoulda bought a shoulder pad to put on the strap.
