Getting ready to leave for 121 girls! I have to go early to get my ID (the office was closed yesterday due to technical problems). I'm bringing my lab coat, steth, and penlight just in case. I made a copy of my chain of custody form, but you can't even see most of what is written on there because it's so light to begin with on the original copy. Oh well...

My mentor called me last night while I was still in class! Lol, she left a message and seems really nice. Her name is Amanda. I'll call her back today on my way to class just to let her know I got her message, but I'll have to jot down the questions I have. It'd be nice to meet up with her in person, but with everyone's differing schedules e-mail convos might be best.

Look on the weekly schd for this wk. I'm bringing the pg. #'s listed... the course guide, pg 19 and 35 and the safety and infection control power point.

Bring the certificate too, turn it in today, maybe? I'm leaving in about 15 mins... thinking about making a Starbucks run on the way, do you want something?

Hi Mom23boyz (I cant recall name, not listed above)..we must have lots of the same classes...I am a Mom too, early 40s....I have my first Clinical tomorrow and she still hasnt posted anything.....would love input on clinicals so I know what to bring tomorrow? I have to be there at 7ish....til 5.....was going to study today but ended up at Trader Jo;s and getting my nails polished nicely one last time before we have to resort to clear polish for clinicals :-)

Lab coat to clinicals? name tag?

any word on those tunics coming in?

loved all the professors....seems like a great group of people in the students too, lots of ages, guys and girls, etc.

Hi Tina, I hope you had a nice wk @ school so far. mom23boyz is Nikki. She and I have clinical together and we had our 110 lab today w/ Mansir. Who is your clinical instructor?

We did not need our lab coat or equipment today. We had lab and MLC orientation and discussed infection control and safety. We were given a supply kit which we will be using throughout the semester. Tomorrow we will be practicing infection control and safety precautions/protocol and were told to bring our mask and gown.

I was @ Fenton on Sat and the arrival date for the tunics was still unknown...they are thinking within a week. I agree, we do have a great group of professors and students.
