Nikki, that's what I was told by the MC lady that Professor Matthews told me to contact in her email. She said both tests are done by urine analysis and that if I have any problems to contact her or MC's PreCheck representative. Here is their contact info if you want to take it with you, just in case you have any problems:

Just ordered my parking permit too :) We have to pay our tuition before getting our ID, correct?

Andrea, hope to see you @ Labcorp on Thu. And thanks for the contact info. I think we will need to pay before getting our ID. Remember to take a copy of your receipt and schedule.

Nikki, good luck w/ Labcorp and Fentons tomorrow. Can you take a look at their badge holders? Andrea mentioned that money can be carried in it. I think it's the 2-sided one. Thanks.

I will try to remember Kristian. I was going just to try on the shirt, pants and warm up coat. I hadn't planned on really looking around much.

Catching up on all the postings! Just wanted to see if anyone else was having a problem getting notifications about activity on this thread? I get a few email notifications but have not gotten anything since Friday.

Hi Rosh, I wasn't getting email notification when I'm logged of.

Go to MY ACCOUNT, then EDIT OPTIONS- Under Default Thread Subscription Mode, click on Subscribed Threads. You'll be able to set your email notification. I reset mine yesterday...we'll see what happs.

I just paid for the fall term. I'll be going to G'Town campus for my ID later this week.

In my two encounters with Fenton's staff I've gotta say, I'm not fond. Every time I've spoken to one of their associates they've seemed stuck up, stiff, and lacking in the personality department. Turns out the old woman who told me just to come in didn't clarify that I needed to wait until they got all their stock in. So I basically went there for nothing. The lady who first helped me didn't understand English too well and ended up getting some other lady to help me. Granted, I wasn't a happy camper that I had come there for no reason but I lightened up and tried to make funnies and the gal didn't even crack a smirk. Same thing on registration day.

Kristian - I did ask about the money/badge holder and took a look at it. It is black leather and goes around your neck. I didn't see a way to adapt it to be a clip on. No we didn't decide on how to handle the payment. And of course now he is out of town. He might be calling later today so I will bring it up.

I got my drug/alcohol screening done. It was right there after getting off of 495 basically. I was expecting it to be much farther into downtown. Anyhow, just a word of caution. DO NOT WRITE ANYTHING ON YOUR LAB FORM. I hadn't done so until I got to the waiting room and thought, oh I should fill this in with my school ID and such. Well the lady told me that normally they would make me go back and get another order form. You aren't supposed to write anything on it until they tell you to. She let it slide this time, thank goodness. I guess there is too much room/opportunity for deception otherwise????

I didn't get very far in my chapter 24 reading while waiting. I keep asking myself, am I really reading this? Isn't this common sense and am I really learning anything from it????

Wow, what a pain! So you didn't get a chance to try anything on? Yeah, those ladies were uptight, if they had better personalities they'd sell more. I called last wk to confirm that they would be calling us when our order is ready and the woman who answered the phone had no clue what was going on. She kept telling me that our order would be going to our school. Anyway, I emailed them and got confirmation that we will be called. Thanks for checking on the badge holder.

Hopefully, you guys will come to a decision about payment arrangement very soon.

I'm trying to get through that chapter, read about 8 pgs yesterday.

I meant to tell you that about the form! Luckily, they let me slide too when I went in last week since I had already filled mine out. I'm glad they didn't give you any problems about the alcohol test. I wish I had gotten your collector on Friday so I wouldn't have to be going in again on Thursday :p

I wonder why they didn't let you try anything on? Did they just not have anything in the store? That's kinda weird. You would think they'd at least have one of each sized item in the store.

I started Chapter 34 last night. Good news: it's much more interesting than Chapter 24, but it's really just a review of Microbiology. Alot more material though :(

I was able to try on the lab coat which feels like a cheap piece of crap. Prof. M's looks much thicker and softer. So I just guessed what size I would need. I asked if it would take me longer now to get my stuff since I ordered a week later and she wouldn't give me an answer to cover her ass. What happens if I don't have my uniform before clinical?
