Montgomery College Fall 2016 Hopefuls

Hi guys,

Just wondering if there are any Montgomery Fall 2016 hopefuls out there and if you have heard anything? I submitted my application January 2016 and have only received confirmation that my application was received by calling the school and having the woman personally check for me. She just gave me a "yep, we got it" and that was about it. I know it's early for any type of acceptances to come out but I figured I'd go ahead and start the thread

Hi!!! I live in D.C and haven't gotten anything! I'm freaking out!!! I called the addmision office to ask for a tracking number and they said they didn't gave one!! How can they not have one!! Ughhhhhh

My letter had a tracking number on it... The "we missed you slip" also did. I think there is one, but maybe admissions just doesn't keep that information at their office.

Hey no new news yet? I won't know until I get home tommorow ������������������

but lady in nursing office said this week or next. Fingers crossed. They do give priority to those in the country and surrounding. We may be the last to know.

Would folks be willing to share your teas score, prerequisite course/grades and college gpa? Or some info? Trying figure out if I can get in to the program for Spring 2017. Trying to understand who is getting in and who is not?

On my TEAS test I received an 80% overall & 93% on the reading portion. Before applying, I completed all of the priority courses, as well as Micro. Best of luck to you!

I received A's and B's on my prerequisites, GPA was around a 3.1 and I received 83% on my TEAS scores!

To those who got their acceptance letters: I faxed my confirmation last Monday (the 13th) before I left for vacation and wasn't sure if they received it... The fax transmission came back as "OK" so maybe I'm just being paranoid. I don't want to show up at orientation tomorrow and they tell me they didn't receive the fax and I lost my seat .

Did anyone else happen to fax their confirmation or did you just bring it in to their office?

It's been quiet in here lately! How's everyone's summer going? Aside from getting all the requirements in, has anyone started purchasing books and equipment? Is anyone interested in starting a Facebook group of some sort?

Yes it's been super quiet. Maybe we can start a facebook group prior to class registrations? I haven't purchased anything yet.

I too havent purchased anything... not sure if that is a bad thing . I was thinking of waiting until registration next week. What days are you all assigned for registration? I am surprised that MC doesnt have a dedicated FB page for Nursing.
