Montgomery College Fall 2016 Hopefuls

Hi guys,

Just wondering if there are any Montgomery Fall 2016 hopefuls out there and if you have heard anything? I submitted my application January 2016 and have only received confirmation that my application was received by calling the school and having the woman personally check for me. She just gave me a "yep, we got it" and that was about it. I know it's early for any type of acceptances to come out but I figured I'd go ahead and start the thread

You won't hear back from them until May-June. MC doesn't look at applications on a rolling basis. They wait until the deadline, then starts selecting their students. I'm going to apply as well, though towards March since the app is super easy. It's not my 1st choice, though there's a good chance I'll end up there lol. So you've got a good while before you hear back.

Thanks for responding! I'm in the same boat as you, Montgomery isn't my first choice but it's my last option. I was put on a wait list for my first choice. :(

Waiting sucks! Haha.

I'M commenting because I realized there is little to no activity on this feed. I've applied for the fall and cannot wait until decisions go out.

I still haven't received a confirmation email stating they received my application (even though I dropped it off with their mail room attendant). Maybe they will send confirmations later on

I never received a confirmation email either; I didn't even know they did that. I know they received mine cause I added a tracking number with my envelope. If I were you I would call and ask them.

I didn't receive a confirmation email either. I had to call and ask myself.

I called and they received it. It was such a headache talking to the representative from the nursing office. #NoProfessionalism . Well let the wait begin.

I just found out I've been accepted to a different school, so if I make it to MC, i'll just decline. I hope that means one of you will have a better chance at getting a spot. Good luck to you all, and keep updating this thread! I want to see your acceptance posts!!
