Hi, I amI sent in my application today
Awesome! I sent mine in last Friday, currently studying my butt off for the Kaplan. Knocking out AP 1 and 2 this Summer so tht I can lighten the pre req load.
Same here definitely want to get a high score ! I have one pre req left micro thinking about taking it in the Summer super nervous just hope I get in. Hope you get in as well.
How are you studying ?
Thank you, hope you get in as well. I’m actually using the TEAS book since it hear it helps more than the Kaplan does. Everyone tells me the Kaplan is useless. For math I’m using Brandon Craft on you tube, for English and Writing Carolyn McCallister on Youtube and for Science I’m studying all the systems and some Chem on quizlet. I am also taking the TEAS for another school in April. How about you?
I am studying right now science. I am using Youtube anatomygmc videos and my old ap1&2 text book and making flash cards on physiology. For math I’m using my NLN book they have a pretty good math section. And reading and writing I haven’t started on that yet. I also use quizlet like if ima on the train or at work.
I have to take the NLN exam LOL
Based off of previous years and threads, they should be contacting people at the end of March to give them dates in April to take the test. I'm really nervous, but I know my chances are greater with a higher test score. So fingers crossed for the both of us.
Yes that where my focus is at I’m trying to score 80 and above
Where are you taking the NLN for?
For the nursing program at Queensborough I am currently enrolled in I am apply there as well
are you applying for Cochran too?
Oh OK, I see.
I am not applying to Cochran, only because my A&P is not yet complete. It’s unfortunate, but I am applying to Rockland Community College. Which has an amazing nursing program.
Good thing about Rockland is that is they only look at the TEAS so study hard
