Hi All,
I just got notified that I was accepted into the Fall '22 Accelerated Nursing Program! Wanted to start a thread to other students who may be attending as well or those who are applying and may have questions. ?

Sure…I don’t have many answers LOL. I haven’t heard from them yet either…they told me end of June and the month of July they will start letting people know. I’m dying to know, I applied back in February I believe, I don’t even remember! Did you apply for second degree also?

I might as well respond here. What were your TEAS scores if you don’t mind me asking.?
Hello all,
I applied months ago around February/March. Despite the negative reviews from people who had attended previously, I kept emailing and calling for updates (The tuition was beautiful compared to anyone else).
All I wanted to know was a date or month that I would know a decision. My admissions advisor said she was going to check the time line and get back to me soon. However her “soon” was three months later this evening June 5th asking me to attend a webinar for my next steps into to the program.
I declined as I am now already attending a nursing school.
I understand not everyone’s experience is the same, but take heed to the multiple complaints everyone has mentioned before finalizing your decision with Monroe.
@aabuzu where are you attending? Congrats! I know I have heard so many terrible things, I’m so nervous! I think this webinar is to address everyone whose applied, I think because they are getting bombarded with emails and questions. I THINK LOL

I got a 73 or 74 - not as well as I’d hope. But I rushed to take it bc they told me to hurry n take it so they could make a decision in 2 weeks…that was in February. Had I known I had all this time - I would’ve studied.

Thank you! Most likely they want to get everyone on the same page. I just wish they were more organized.
I am attending the WABSN (weekend accelerated) program at Dominican College. It allows me to work during the week and the professors are great so far.

That’s great! My friend graduated from there years ago n loved it! It’s definitely a great program. Unfortunately my pre-reqs were too old for DC, so I couldn’t apply there. Best of luck! I’m sure you’ll do great!
I applied last October and received an acceptance letter in early Nov. I completely agree with the posters above me. Please keep your options wide open and them as a last resort if all else fails. Of course everyone's experience will be different but that was a risk I was not willing to take. Too much money is invested for this to be the experience. 0-1 clinical per year and teaching yourself? Unacceptable. I ended up declining and focusing on other programs but I am certain that I made the right decision. Good luck to all who are attending and prospective students!
