I applied last October and received an acceptance letter in early Nov. I completely agree with the posters above me. Please keep your options wide open and them as a last resort if all else fails. Of course everyone's experience will be different but that was a risk I was not willing to take. Too much money is invested for this to be the experience. 0-1 clinical per year and teaching yourself? Unacceptable. I ended up declining and focusing on other programs but I am certain that I made the right decision. Good luck to all who are attending and prospective students!

I might as well respond here. What were your TEAS scores if you don’t mind me https://allnurses.com/profile/1191150-futuredeterminednurs

@Futuredeterminednurse

Thank you for your response a few weeks ago and thank you for sharing your email but it looks like we may be in the same boat I spoke with an advisor and she said that after the today they will start letting people know if they were accepted . I notice someone on here said July . The advisor told me that they are flooded with applications so maybe this why they are taking so long .

That’s great! My friend graduated from there years ago n loved it! It’s definitely a great program. Unfortunately my pre-reqs were too old for DC, so I couldn’t apply there. Best of luck! I’m sure you’ll do great!

Thank you!!

What were you told regarding wait time

I was told after June 15 they will be letting people know if they were accepted, not accepted or waitlisted. When I first applied I was told two weeks and  that was in March ?

I called and they said 2-3 weeks after June 15 we should be finding out

That would really make me anxious.
Did you apply for accelerated? What have you heard about on how they go about acceptances- tea scores etc

Yea I’m so anxious about it im not sure how many seats they have in the ABSN program I was told the minimum score for the TEAS was a 70 overall but it’s confusing the way they go about the TEAS. I also don’t know if the program is 12 months or 18 months I just know it’s affordable
