Monroe College FALL 2022

Hi All,

I just got notified that I was accepted into the Fall '22 Accelerated Nursing Program! Wanted to start a thread to other students who may be attending as well or those who are applying and may have questions. ?

Yup me too. I received two emails, one said orientation was on Friday the 29th and then I later received an email stating that orientation was this Wednesday, the 27th from 6pm-7pm. I only have a location for 2 of my classes and still nothing for the other two. They gave me anatomy and phys lecture and lab, fundamentals and dosage calc/pharmacology. I think that's kind of a lot for one semester. Still nothing for clinicals either. Hopefully that'll be included in the orientation. 

Are you in the ABSN program ? I'm taking Nursing Theory Influences, CCC of the Adult with mental health, Intro to CC Care & Nursing and Dosage Calculation and Pharmacology. One of the classes is online but I have yet to find out where the classes are. So far I have class everyday.... I'm going to email Sandra Senior for an update.

I'm in the progressive program, starting out as an LPN. I have classes 4 days out the week. Maybe try to call her and see? I hope you're able to reach her or someone for information.

Hello!  I’ve been calling my advisor and sending  emails aswell . I keep hearing to wait a week or two it’s been a month now . Thank you for letting me know . I hope we both get an acceptance letter soon. I hear it’s a lot of applicants so I’m a bit nervous. Best of luck .

Hi, I applied to ABSN in February and still haven’t heard back. No reply to my emails either. Initially they said 2 weeks but now they are saying it could be July! When does your program start?

Hi ! I wish they would let us know something. I applied to the Lpn/RN progressive program for Fall 2022.

Hey I was alrady accepted into the program, I'm starting this Friday. You should go to the school or call another advisor, they seem to be very unorganized and understaffed. Noone answers any emails or calls

I start this Friday, the Spring 2022 semester. They are very slow with responding.

I got a message on black board from one of my classes letting me know when orientation was.

that’s awesome! Congratulations! Did you go to another school or did they send you an acceptance letter ? I start in the fall so hopefully they will let me know some time in the Summer .

thank you ! they sent me an acceptance email. You should know in the next few months hopefully.

In response to a previous comment that was made, my advice is to not internalize someone else’s negative experience and claim that for yourself because that will definitely play a role in the experience you end up having.
Good luck to all of you starting the program! Find your people and you’ll be fine.?

Hi! I took my TEAS this past Monday, does anyone know how long it took to hear back with a decision?  Was it sent via email or mail?
