Monroe College in Bronx ny

I recently got accepted to Monroe College for the fall 2020 nursing program, I haven’t seen recent reviews about the school and I want to make sure I’m making the right decision. Has anyone attended the school, or graduated?

Im not looking to put all my eggs into one basket so I’m still applying for other schools as well.

You have to make a payment/set up payment plan before being registered for courses. Try calling the financial aid office, they contacted me about this I didn’t know either.

Just to clarify there’s no meeting times right? Because it’s all online for this semester

My bf is in the lpn-RN this is his last semester, next semester he’s starting the BSN

Yes…After lpn they had to take the lpn NCLEX I think it’s called the pnclex I forgot. Then once you pass than you can move forward to the next part which is the RN. (You have to pass that lpn NCLEX to be able to move forward) So this December he will be LPN-RN. Then in jan 2022 he will work as an lpn while doing his BSN!

Yes that’s true! I believe there were 2 people in his class that didn’t pass it on the first try I believe and they had to stay behind ? you can take it again but you won’t move onto the next semester to do the RN

@mulaniani am sorry to hear that, so even after we pass the NCLEX exam let’s say on the second try, what is the next step? We can still join the RN program the coming up semester? Or we have to stay behind and start it with another group?
