Stars glad you get a break from her today

Ado alone time can help people re-energize

Did some meal prep before church.  After church came home and did the cooking.  Ran some errands later in the day, checked out some new businesses downtown, and exercised.  Otherwise a quiet day

Today nothing usual planned, just laundry after work.  Have a coworker out all week, hopefully that  won't mean things get crazy, but I'll guess we'll see

Will be cooler today, low 80s.

Got up early and dressed/fed Nannie and BiL took her away to daycare. I will leave shortly to see if I can get all my biznezz taken care of, and still have time to laze about before Nannie is returned home.

Supposed to get up to a disgusting 96 degrees today. w00t?

Good morning.

Joe, hope you have a good day.

Stars, I see you replied while I was typing.  Hope you get your biznezz taken care of.

I didn't post yesterday for some reason.  I had a decent day.  Got a patient from the ER in respiratory distress and a BP of 180/110 manually.  I immediately called a rapid response and she got out to ICU where they drained a liter out of one of her lungs.  Why they would send her to med surgery is beyond me.

I had my three months visit with my PCP due to the requirements around my clonazepam.  I told her that although I do have some issues no need to change anything at this time.  It took all of three minutes with her,  My BP was 142/82 but I told her the MA and I were talking about work.  LOL.  She told me to keep an eye on it on my own.

Going to mow the grass now.  Not much happening otherwise.

We have arrived at Paradise Inn at Mt. Rainier. The drive was long, due to construction delays.
Dh had his carotid ultrasound that showed 49% stenosis, so no intervention necessary, other than tight cholesterol control, which he has.
Stars, I can't help wondering if you should explore other living arrangements. I mean, what value would you actually realize as that house ages. Is it comparable to the care taker hours you have put in? I don't know what the availability of affordable housing is in your area.
My BP is always high at the cardiology office, after driving 1 & 1/2 hours to get there, and taking the stairs because I hate elevators.
The weather in the mid 70s. The view from our room:

What a beautiful view, j22!  Glad you were able to make it safely, in spite of construction delays (which seem to be everlasting).  When we drove back down 395 from our trip to Susanville, there were at least 6 delays, and "right lane closed ahead" became our mantra for the drive (which we took in three days, rather than powering down in one or two).

There is not much going on here or with us.  I didn't sleep except for two hours last night, for whatever reason.  I just got up from an hour's nap, that felt so good!

Have a good evening!

That's beautiful, J22!

So glad no need for intervention for your dh.

Very little going on here. I keep getting letters from some land company that wants to drill for oil in the area. They have sent such letters to many nearby residents with options for lease agreements for mineral rights. I'm quite sure we have only surface rights to our whopping 0.3 acre lot. Someone many years ago probably retained mineral rights. But I'll check just to be sure. Spent some time hunting for the warranty deed. It sounds awful to not know where it is. Put away in a "safe spot" I'm sure. Safe from me. My searches for info did lead me to find unclaimed property for my parents' trust and for Twin A so I filed claims.
