Did the cooking for the week and the cleanup before church.  Was surprised at a near normal amount of people at church despite the cold.  After church exercised and stopped at the library and did more gift wrapping. Found time to get the laundry done too.

Today should be a pretty ordinary day at work.  Will do some things to get ready to switch to a new work computer, which will happen tomorrow (and hopefully won't cause a mess).  After work will exercise and do more gift wrapping

Going to be a good bit warmer today, up to the mid 20s

Good morning!

Joe, hope the computer switch goes smoothly.

It's chilly here in the low 50's.  I put Waffles outside in the back and she came right back him.  Hopefully she at least peed.  Don't blame her.  She has short hair and is a Floridian like me and doesn't like the cold.

Unfortunately today is the day I meet with the legal team to coach me and inform me about the case and about making my statement to the people that are suing us.  Myself, some doctors and one other nurse supposedly have been called.  This meeting will be with me alone I'm pretty sure.  Dreading it.  I have a lot on my mind. 

2025 hasn't been a good year and am looking forward to the symbolism of a new year and manifesting a better one.  I know there's a lot of suffering out there and I am thankful.

Tragedy struck the hospital staff again as one manager's husband died in a MVC over the weekend (did I tell that an ER nurse died unexpectedly last week?). I recognize, too, that there's a lot of suffering out there and it is life-changing for those affected. 

Gma had a fall this morning and has another skin tear. Hubs was going to call the hospice folks, since this is a "change" and she might qualify again. 

I hope all goes well with the meeting with the lawyers, Tweety. I've been fortunate to not have trials either has a nurse or (yet) as risk manager.

Another cold day....in the upper 30's (BRRRR!) with a COLD wind. Got Nannie at the Senior Center at 5 PM.  Did laundry earlier. Filled the mediset. Still have to go get one refill from the pharmacy, but that'll be....? tomorrow ?.....if I can get out there w/o taking Nannie along. 

Nannie is being rude and very judgmental of people on TV 🙄 mostly about their looks, which I find quite tedious. It may be a long evening if her mood is going to stay like that. Oh well, nothing new; it is just difficult for me to be around her SO MUCH, especially when she is in one of her poisonous moods!
