Went to church yesterday and coffee thereafter. Came home and got the crock pot recipe started, did dishes, and went on a bike ride since it it was nice and in the 70s. A nice and fairly quiet day
Today should be an ordinary day, nothing unusual as long as work goes well
Going to be about 80 today, so a little warmer but still nice

Good morning. It's quite a bit cooler today, mid 60s. We had a thunderstorm last night that started a wild fire about 12 miles away. It did rain hard, but not enough to extinguish the fire. Some homes are threatened.
Trivia Night turned out well. The emcee was very nervous, so we kept prompting him to talk slooooower. Between entry fees and raffles they raised about $800 to support a program that supplies diapers to lower wage workers. Like the Eminem song says "these gd food stamps don't pay for diapers".
oh, Dory looks so sweet. I know my old Angus would be unpredictably cranky around strangers.
