Molloy Dual Degree/Spring 2017

Hi everyone. Just looking to start a new updated thread since there aren't any threads for 2016. I applied for spring 2017 semester. I called today to check on the status of my application, and admissions told me they don't start reviewing for spring semester until Oct-Nov. Don't think the woman would fib but that seems so late to me! Just wondering if anyone else had a similar response. Has anyone received paperwork for the Nelson Denny exam or received a call about an interview? I'm so nervous I'm on edge waiting for another 3 months :-( lol

I think Im a little confused, does anyone know how long this program actually is? I have all of my prerequisites met and when I met with a counselor he told me that I would be doing 5, back to back semesters and that if I start Jan 2017 I will be done May of 2018. All research that Im doing now says that this program is 2.5 years with summers and winters off...

When is the absolute latest you should apply for the Dual Degree Program starting in the fall? Also, if you have the pre-reqs from another college but they're all C's will it be recommended to take the program with the pre-reqs?

Hello! @Sammie96 I submitted my application and other things for the Fall 2017 start of the Dual Degree Program about 2 weeks ago. Could be a long time until reviewed/decision is made though I am assuming due to it starting seven months from now. If anyone has any more info on this process please let me know! (in terms of timeline, interview, their exams, etc)

has anyone heard back for the dual degree program starting fall 2017?

I have not heard back anything other then the letter saying they will tell me to take the math/reading test at a later date and that they have everything needed of me.

However I only applied on March 2nd. Admissions said you can apply up until May-ish. I'm getting a little nervous. I have 3.3 GPA and good EMS volunteer experience and health care work experience. I met with admissions and they said the grades were fine.

Anyone know when desicions go out for the fall program?

Congrats! I can't seem to log into Lion's Den portal. It's saying my username and password is invalid but it's the login info I used to submit my application so I'm confused. Looking to see my admissions status as well..

Hi @sweetkeish. I am planning to apply to start in Spring 2018. If you don't mid me asking, did you get accepted into the program? I have a 3.2 GPA and I'm a little curious if that's good enough to get into the program.

I had a 3.6, but I didn't start out as strong as I ended lol
