Hi everyone, I applied to Molloy's accelerated nursing program for the Fall 2019 semester and noticed there hasn't been a thread started yet. Has anyone applied and heard back for the fall yet?!

I passed my Nelson Denny with a 16.6 and I received my math score probably 2 weeks afterwards( Thursday) then the following Monday I received my acceptance letter. I just received my financial aid package last Monday. I already have my Bachelors degree and I still have a few prerequisites that weren’t accepted from my other school. I had a 3.26 GPA(with some credits at a local community college) by the time I applied and I still got accepted! So don’t stress too much about the GPA! I know I did and now I realize there was no reason to. If you have any questions then I’ll try to answer to the best of my abilities. Good luck everyone!!
Congrats on your acceptance! If you don't mind me asking, which pre-reqs did they not accept? I have a feeling I will be in the same boat. I took general chemistry, looks like they require organic. I also already took nutrition, intro to nursing, and lifespan but I know most schools don't accept transfer nursing courses. Congrats again!

They did not accept my General Psych and Microbio credits. According to the status sheet they gave me, I am missing nutrition and Intro Sociology as well so I have 4 prerequisites left. I filled the chemistry, statistics, and both anatomy and physiology prerequisites.

It was credit from an AP exam but my school did use it as a replacement for an actual course. I understand why they don’t accept it. My college took my AP Bio credit but it was still required for me to take an Intro Bio course since it was my major.

Yes my school used my AP credit as a replacement for general psych as well. Stinks that Molloy won't. The courses I'd have to retake at Molloy just keep piling up, I'm wondering if its even worth it for me to pay such high tuition to essentially spend an entire semester retaking classes. Thanks for your insight!
Hey guys! Just looking to see if anyone else had something strange like this happen with their application....I just received my provisional acceptance today. I wasn't expecting it so soon because I haven't taken the Nelson-Denny yet.. I did however send in my TEAS score because it would omit me from having to take the math placement. My TEAS score was 1 point too low on reading to omit me from the Nelson-Denny. Now my acceptance letter is saying I must complete ENG 101 by the end of my first 12 credits...I've already taken two semesters of college level English. I know I have to call admissions but hopefully they still let me take the ND to place out of English...

@NoriS97 just wanted to let you know that I spoke with admissions and they said if I send over my official AP score report, it will fulfill the psychology course!
Hey everyone! I applied to the Dual Degree program for Fall 2019 and took both the math and ND test. I felt I did really good on the ND but I don't know about the math. Has anyone got accepted into the program and didn't receive a 90% or better on the test? I was looking at the nursing class and practically all are filled... I'm worried that if I didn't pass the math screening test I won't get into the program or have to wait a whole semester before starting any nursing classes.

@blessedbutstressed I'm currently a Molloy undergrad student and I graduate in May. I don't know for sure if they have separate classes for Duel Degree. I know when I took A&P there was a lot of Duel Degree nursing students mixed in with the freshman nursing students and other majors. Also when I look at the classes being offered for the Fall semester it doesn't indicate if there's different classes for Duel Degree.
