Hi everyone, I applied to Molloy's accelerated nursing program for the Fall 2019 semester and noticed there hasn't been a thread started yet. Has anyone applied and heard back for the fall yet?!
I have my financial aid interview next week so we’ll see if anything is offered but I doubt it honestly. I didn’t have to retake the tests but I think it was because I did it within the last year. My friend took our government loans to fund her nursing at molloy and she doesn’t regret it because she’s now an ER nurse! So I’m staying positive! ?

The only prerequisite I have is statistics. I did get a 100% on the math test though and passed English so that could’ve helped
So will you take your other pre-reqs at Molloy?

Your only a lot to the the test once like ever. They don’t allow you to retake the test. And yes Molloy program is great
I’m taking the Nelson Denny and Math Screening today. Is anyone else still waiting to hear back for acceptance? Is anyone taking the tests today? For those who took the exams, were you able to finish all 80-100 questions in 15 minutes for the English part? Seems a little ridiculous to me. Thanks!

Good luck! Still waiting to hear back for final decision.
I took mine 3/12 & got my grades back last week & passed both. I was not able to finish all the English questions, you have to work fast & skip the ones you don't know and guess to make sure you get the ones you know. Make sure you don't forget to make guesses and at least fill something out for the ones you don't know cus I forgot to do that and still managed to pass. The reading part was harder for me than the vocab part.
Has anyone taken the TEAS (perhaps for another school you were applying to)? I saw in the Molloy handbook in the nursing section that if you scored an 80% or higher in the math section that you won't have to take the math placement. I just sent my scores so hopefully that is true. Will still have to take the Nelson-Denny though.

After you get accepted you have to make an appointment with the financial aid office and then they will look at everything and then tell you if you are able to receive aid or not. If you got your letter already you should call financial aid tomorrow and make your appointment the sooner the better.
