Mohawk RPN January 2015?

World Canada CA Programs

Published

Hi!

i applied for January intake of Mohawk RPN program. I'm waiting to hear from admissions.

I was told I would hear back by the end of august but that is not the case. So I'm wondering when you guys heard back from there and when I can expect to hear back?

In high school I took uni courses so I added 10% for college. I have an 87.6% average.

For my hoae I got:

aa 56/75 84.46 normalized

ns 45/60 67.87

rc 30/35 45.25

sp 38/45 57.31

via 69/90 104.71

im just wondering what grades they look for competitively and I don't really know how to read my hoae results. thanks for your help in advance!

Any help is appreciated!!!

hey, if you don't mind are you able to email me real quick? [email protected]

I wouldn't fret too much about Mosby's Nursing Diagnosis book at this point. We didn't use it until maybe the 3rd last week of Semester 1. And barely.

I think I will be getting the ebook bundle tomorrow..it will just make my life that much easier. I still have to get scrubs, the badge, some shoes, stethoscope (i'll wait on that) Ah great! so much money :(

I'm finally done with all the books, received Fundamental of Nursing from Amazon today and got the computer manual from the bookstore. I'm at $717.72 so far in books alone (all hard copy) although I did buy Dosing Calculations which was optional. Hopefully no more surprises.

I'm holding off on the stethoscope too, I have no idea which one we're actually supposed to get. I went to the bookstore and there were a lot and they all looked the same to my untrained eye

How much was the computer manual? just want to make sure i have enough!

philvane, you can't go wrong with the littmann classic se ii :) But no worries, you won't need a stethoscope until the 2nd half of the term anyway. Lots of time to decide and price compare.

If you are tight on funds, I can say you really don't need the dosage calculation book. The "math" is covered in one day. Very simple. You need 100% on the test, but are given examples beforehand to study from.

I'm just trying to figure out if I have everything here that is mentioned on elearn and the booklist. Some are optional. Let me know if I missed anything.

It was $10 plus tax

Does anyone need to buy the 3.0 skills for canadian fundamentals of nursing? Because i need to buy the A&P Modules and they only sell it packaged with the 3.0 skills. I already bought the 3.0 skills separately last week.

Maryam did you buy the e-books or hard copies (Sorry if I missed the answer earlier in the thread)? A&P Online comes packaged with the hard copy textbook.

I bought hard copies, they were used which is why it didn't come with the ap online.

If you're willing to wait rather than buy it in person, it's on Amazon. if you sign up for Amazon Prime Student (Free) it can be delivered within 2 days, and obviously you can pay for express shipping.
