Hi!

i applied for January intake of Mohawk RPN program. I'm waiting to hear from admissions.

I was told I would hear back by the end of august but that is not the case. So I'm wondering when you guys heard back from there and when I can expect to hear back?

In high school I took uni courses so I added 10% for college. I have an 87.6% average.

For my hoae I got:

aa 56/75 84.46 normalized

ns 45/60 67.87

rc 30/35 45.25

sp 38/45 57.31

via 69/90 104.71

im just wondering what grades they look for competitively and I don't really know how to read my hoae results. thanks for your help in advance!

Any help is appreciated!!!

Ah!!!! Ya last week...week seven.....we didnt have lab BUT it was open regular hours for those who wanted to practice for the OSCE'S. They posted those resources as stuff for us to do reading week if we wanted to. That's all! :p Now we're on reading week. The week coming up is week eight.

Oh lord... OK. Thanks :D

Don't worry about the simulations. They are not graded and are certainly learning experiences. Just read the preparation documents and practice skills you feel you could improve before the sim. After the sim, you will write a reflection on your strengths as well as learning goals. Think critically, calm your nerves, and you'll do fine.

In terms of the OSCE.. if you prepare well, you will do great. Practice every week. The evaluators are looking for specific details, so when you practice, follow the rubrics (these are the exact marking documents they use at the OSCE). Again, calm your nerves. It's really mind over matter. Be confident and go get er done!

Thanks a lot, Julles. There is just so much to know, and for some reason I'm not retaining the practical skills even if I study it the day before lab.. Very scared

Hello! I'm starting the RPN program @ Mohawk in January 2016, and am trying to get as much information ASAP about what my schedule may look like for the first and second semesters in terms of which days and times classes typically are. Would anyone from the January 2015 start mind sharing your schedules with me? It looks like there are 2 possible schedule blocks, so I would love to know what Block A and Block B looked like. Many thanks in advance!
