Mohawk College Practical Nursing January 2018

I am just wondering if anyone has received admission into Mohawk College's RPN nursing program, for the January 2018 start? If so, when did you hear back from the school, and what were your grades and HOAE test scores?

Same. I accepted Conestoga waiting for mohawk since mohawk is a lot closer. I dont wanna have to drive if i dont have to

I called admissions about a week ago and they said offers won't be released until first or second week of September. Let's hope they come soon!

I was starting to get so nervous, so I applied for the psw program (Jan 2018 start) just in case, and I got into that one, as I want to make sure I have something for January. I am not too worried though, I think the nursing offers should be coming shortly.

I just want the wait to be over ahaha

Im a psw for over 15 years now. I sadly dont qualify for the mohawk bridge psw to pn because i did my class in 2002. Had to be 2006. This small detail is been a huge thorn. Im at least in at Conestoga so something is better then waitlists:)

Oh wow that is unfortunate, sorry to hear! I am sure you will make it through nursing school with great success as you have health care experience. Yeah I agree, its good to have a back up plan. I also received admission to Conestoga, but I am praying on Mohawk as that is where I started my undergrad (McMaster).

Good for you for putting yourself out there and going for a new career after being in the workplace for 15 years, that is so great!

Yeah same here, nothing yet! Keeping my fingers crossed though. Hopefully they come soon, as I am stressing hard.

I think Mac and Mohawk are the schools who take the longest for admissions. For my first year of uni at Mac, I received early admission.... which was in March! So regular admission was in May.

I think they just like to make sure they received all candidates information before deciding.
