  1. My bad! I meant home care is a flexible job while in school. I just finished the PN program at MoMac and in my opinion it’s not flexible at all, usually 3 days on campus and then 1 clinical day! Strict deadlines, etc.
  2. I’d say go for bridging! Then you’ll have a lot more opportunities in the future, but that’s just my thoughts on it! I’ll be doing nursing home care while in the program, since it’s so flexible
  3. Got in!! Can’t wait to see you all there:)
  4. Noo it doesn’t! But you can still accept Mohawk if you get it:) from my understanding they haven’t sent out any offers yet, I just graduated RPN there and our teachers said bridging program offers won’t go out until sometime in May!
  5. Ohh okay ty! Just spoke with some of my friends and ours all says “no eligibility “ so far. I wouldn’t worry!
  6. What do you mean by eligibility section? I’m looking on ocas.com as well as the App and I don’t see this section! I received an offer from Conestoga but I’m waiting for mohawk as well! I know that emissions told me the only things that matter are your supporting documents (CNO registration receipt), Casper test results, and your RPN program transcripts.
  7. Wow! Love this response, I’ve just been accepted into the Conestoga/McMaster bridging program for September. I would love to see a set of your notes if possible or any other info you believe to be helpful! On another note I see Both sides of this debate. On the one hand three extra years after you’ve already completed two years in nursing does seem a bit much, And on the other hand it also wouldn’t be fair to those who did a 4 year program, for us RPNs to work 2 years sooner and still complete our BScN at the same time, if we choose. The schools have to give some incentive to the students otherwise majority would probably complete their RPN first and then bridge to BScN in order to work faster. Hope that makes sense! Just my opinion:)
  8. This is exactly what I’m confused about! Did you get any answers? I ended up emailing in my receipt of paying for the CNO registration but I have no clue what’s going on with the March 30th deadline as no other schools requires proof of CNO registration until August 15th! And for us who graduate next month, we won’t really have proof of registration until we pass our exam:/
  9. I just received my offer from comac in the Ontario colleges app today! So remember to check their first:) They usually come a lot quicker than mail.
  10. Hey guys! Did anyone else recieve their package in the mail and it says "conditional offer" ?? I have so i called our student success advisor for the program and he said they all say conditional and that its just a standard letter. But he didnt seem too interested in my question! I know ive completed all of the pre reqs but im still pretty nervous considering he didnt give me any other information on my grades etc.
  11. Got my offer as well! Cant wait to meet you all:)!
  12. I accepted my offer at Sheridan so just happy im going somewhere on my li st! Mohawk is slacking lol
  13. I have an 89 i think or 88 wow i should know this hahaa! And my hoae scores im not sure how to calculate!
