RPN to RN Bridging program advice

Hey, I am from Toronto too, and am thinking of applying to the UOIT RPN-BSCN bridging program. What was your average when you applied? When did you get an offer of admission? How do you commute to Oshawa (I dont drive, so I was planning on taking the GO transit)? Are there opportunities for placements in Toronto or the GTA?

Hey Lisa, I'm in the same situation as you! When did apply for the RPN-BSCN program? When did you get accepted? When did you do the RPN exam? When did you have to submit proof of the above information to the school?
  11. Hello, I will be completed my pregraduate semester in Jan 2018 in hopes of graduating from my RPN program at Centennial College in Apr 2018. I plan on taking my RPN licensing exam shortly after (probably within the next 2-4 months), and plan to have my CNO RPN license by June-August. I know the deadline for equal consideration to apply for the POST RPN program is Feb 1st, 2018, even though the program doesn't start until Sept 2019. Would I be able to apply by Feb 1st, 2018, for consideration into the program and provide proof of my RPN diploma and CNO RPN license after I complete it in June-Aug? Or would I have to wait until after I have my RPN diploma and CNO RPN license (which would be after the deadline of equal consideration (Feb 1st, 2018) to apply for the Post RPN program? BTW: I was previously in the BSCN (2.7 GPA, one failed course) from 2013-16, switched to the practical Nursing program (3.7 GPA with no failed or repeated course) from 2016-present. P.S. I have already emailed the schools I am interested in, to ask them the very question Im asking now, but I just wanted other students opinions/experiences. Thanks! :)

Hey JaguarX, thats awesome! I got my offer two weeks ago and accepted over the weekend as well. Hopefully Ill see you around campus, with teveryone esle. I just received the welcome package after I sent my post, i in the mail. In the package, it just gives you a welcome booklet that tells you basic things you need to know (similar to what's already on the website) and another copy of your acceptance letter.

I have already contacted (by phone and email) them on Wednesday, I've seen nothing today when I checked. I don't start until Jan 2017, but I want to complete some courses before hand. Hopefully I hear something soon.

    Centennial College RPN Program

Hey, I've been accepted into Centennial College's RPN (Flex) Was it mentioned in your acceptance letter or in the welcome package? In the acceptance letter it said they should be sending out information about it. I haven't received my welcome package yet. :/
