Modesto Junior College '15/'16 ADN applications MJC nursing program

Published

Hi all!

I've seen a few threads about TEAS V scores and points totals regarding getting into the Modesto Junior College nursing program. I'd love to get an idea where everyone else is at, what my chances might be, what's working for everybody, etc.

personally, I have 63 points so far, got a 76% on the TEAS test. I'm planning on trying to work on a better score though.

Lets get the conversation going MJC crowd!!

If you took it somewhere else you don't actually have to pay for the transcript to be sent. I learned the hard way because I assumed and was excited to get my paperwork turned in. They only ask you where you took the TEAS and when because they will verify it, but they don't need any proof. You can call to verify because I turned my papers in the day they sent the email out so it could have changed. Hope I helped í ½í¸Š

I cant find the fb page when I search...any help?

@cbolter The fb page was deleted :-( did you apply to the program this year??

yes!! has anyone with a lower score than 69 been selected for documents?? please tell me, Im losing hair over here!!! :D

For MJC I believe the lowest selected to provide documents was 62 or 63, that's what I heard from others not the office. I'm not sure what it was for Columbia.

cbolter, 62 points was the lowest I heard, both on the FB group and off. I have 68 points, and I'm stressing hardcore if I have enough to get in. Did you apply to modesto or Columbia? Did your documents get approved yet?

62 was the lowest LAST year?? or this year?? if it was this year no need to stress!! youd be in!! ;) I applied for modesto campus....

Has anyone's documents been approved ? Mine haven't been since 6/8/15. However, I've heard others that turn in their documents that same day theirs got approved...

My documents are still processing and I turned mine in on 6/9, hopefully they are approved soon I'm getting anxious.

Mine are still in processing status. I'm very anxious as well. I hope we don't have to wait till 7/13 to know if their approved.

I turned mine in on 6/4 and they are still processing as well. Someone suggested that maybe they go in alphabetical order and just haven't got to the R's yet. This could be the case but I don't know. One thing I do know, however, is that this is the hardest part of this whole process.

I heard that they selected 120 out of the 400 applicants. Not sure if that is including just the main campus or the Columbia campus as well. Anyone know how many they accept for the main campus? I applied with a total of 68 points and am literally going to be biting my nails until July 13th!
