Modesto Junior College '15/'16 ADN applications MJC nursing program

Hi all!

I've seen a few threads about TEAS V scores and points totals regarding getting into the Modesto Junior College nursing program. I'd love to get an idea where everyone else is at, what my chances might be, what's working for everybody, etc.

personally, I have 63 points so far, got a 76% on the TEAS test. I'm planning on trying to work on a better score though.

Lets get the conversation going MJC crowd!!

I will restart the Facebook page now that my paperwork was approved í ½í¸Š

does y'alls status change after your docs were approved? no mine says "not selected for supporting documentation 6/02/14". its my status from last years application. weird. i was just wondering if there was a glitch or something....I emailed the nursing dept just in case, bc im freaking out!! lol. man i am insane right now, but after i know im in, it should get better....right!?! lol

I have a 68 as well. I know everyone is expecting the scale to be higher this year, I just hope not over 68! People from the 62 point slot got asked for documents. And with over 500 applications it's hard to be confident. This process is so nerve racking, my entire life is on hold until I find out.

It's back "MJC Nursing: Spring 2015 Applicants"

Anyone who isn't already in the Facebook group should join. It's really comforting to share our turmoil of waiting to find out if we got in. We're also having a great time getting to know each other a little bit.

So what was the point cutoff for this cohort? I'm applying this year with 72 points and would like to know if I can get my hopes up a little :)

68 was the original cutoff... once people accept/deny their spots, they go down the list and fill spots. Fall stayed at 68 but idk what the lowest was once they had spring spots filled. They had like 4 months, from acceptance emails till right before spring orientation, to figure out spring spots and a lot can happen within that time. Good Luck!
