Modesto Junior College (MJC) ADN Fall 2024/Spring 2025

Published

Hi all!  This will be my 2nd attempt at MJC.  Hoping to apply with at least 81 this year 0_0.

Hi everyone, just wanted to say hi and looking forward to our cohort. The email states sometime before or on November that they will notify us about preparation. Has anyone plan on or have taken a CPR class that can be recommended that's required of us?

Has anyone received any of the preparation documents yet? I know they said mid October to beginning of November, just curious!

I haven't yet. They should be sending it before or by Nov 1st so still keeping a look out.

Hey everyone! I received an email today from [MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME]. The email gave an update of what to expect in her next email, and the date of our mandatory orientation.

Specializes in RETIRED Cath Lab/Cardiology/Radiology.

I was accepted into the fall 2024 is there any group chat going that I can join?

There are two Terms of Service-approved ways to create a special place for your cohort:

One: Create a Facebook page.  Facebook links are the ONLY social medial links allowed, per TOS.

Two: Members with at least 15+ posts OR who have purchased a Platinum membership can create a student "Club" for their cohort.

  • Click on the "Breakroom/Clubs" link under "Communities" at the top of any page in the upper left on desktop or "Breakroom" under "Special Sections" in the upper right on mobile.
  • Click "Start a Breakroom Club".
  • The person creating the club must invite others to be members.
  • You may post social or mobile application links once in a private group. Keep in mind, clubs will not be moderated, unless a member reports an issue.

Thank you for being a part of the allnurses community.

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if there's anyone here going to MJC Columbia and if there is a group Facebook or instagram for it? Thank you 😊 I was hoping to find a commuting partner, as I'm commuting from San Joaquin county out there!

Where is everyone getting there BLS certification? How much? How long does it take? Thank you in advance!

Did you guys need to take all of the GE's? I'm so confused with their MSPAR  because the 2nd page includes "additional requirement for ADN to BSN. GE cert" what if I just wanted to do ADN for now?
