Modesto Junior College Fall 2013/Spring 2014

Hello everyone. I thought I would start a discussion on the application cycle for Modesto Junior College's ADN program. I called the nursing department about 3 weeks ago and was told that they are anticipating some 800 applicants and that they expect to have letters sent out no later then August 1st. :nailbiting: This is the last school I waiting to hear back from and the anticipation is killing me! I was just recently laid off from my job and am holding off on going back to work until I find out the results. How is everyone else holding up?

At Stan State upto wait list # 5, u r good to go!

That semester not one person from waitlist got in at Stan state.

Sorry to hear that Cab. Its 6:30 pm and my mom and I are confused as to why no mail has arrived at our home. We are gonna go talk to the neighbors....

UPDATE: At 6:44 pm the mailman came and delivered nothing from Modesto CC. :/

Guys and girls...I applied 8 times...8 times...my suggestion is to retake classes and apply somewhere else...

why would we retake classes? if I have 3.8 Gpa???don't get it. It is just that every program right now overfilled with applicants that are good. Hopefully next year it will be easier to get in at MJC since it will be point system, not lottery. I know that some people are sitting at home right now and crying because they got in...hahahah...not us...not us!!!

My letter came in the mail yesterday and sadly I wasn't accepted. It was my first time and will be my last time applying to MJC because my GPA was just a 3.0 in the sciences and I am sure that wouldn't be good enough next year. Good luck to all!!!

I didn't get into MJC's program but I did get into Palomar College for the Spring 2014 semester. I'll have to make the move to San Marcos north of San Diego though
