Mobile scrub store

Published

I am currently looking into selling scrubs via a mobile store that I will pull around to different towns and locations. Where I live there are not many scrubs stores and many local towns have to commute at least an hour to buy scrubs. Just wanted others opinions, would you buy scrubs from a mobile store that came directly to your town or even place of work to sell uniforms? Thanks in advance for your time. :)

My former employer worked with a company like that to offer scrub sales twice a year. They only brought the work appropriate colors our company allowed, along with a few accessories. It was fabulous. They accepted debit/credit or offered payroll deduction, which was convenient. I hate that my current employer doesn't offer this, especially since we can only order from one site and can't try anything on. Very frustrating.

When I worked LTC the "Scrub Van" came a couple times a year. We all loved it. I hate ordering without being able to try on but live almost an hour from the nearest scrub store.

We have a scrub truck that comes to my PRN job, trying to get it for my main job. I've never bought anything from it, but I know several people who do!

Thank you all for comments. I just feel it would be helpful in the area I live because you either have to drive an hour to buy good scrubs or buy online. Which I too like to try on my scrubs before buying.

My initial reaction was negative (I'm not much of a shopper), but I think it would be a great service in my area - lots of rural hospitals/LTC located over an hour from a real shopping location. We do have walmart, but it would be nice to have other choices.

The facility my patients are at has a scrub truck 3-4 times a year. I don't utilize it as I wear street clothes, but the facility staff love it. They can use payroll deduction.

I would love this! I order scrubs online. Mostly online. No scrub stores where I live.
