I did use it for some diseases, treatments and nursing actions... you can Google, there are plenty of it.
Ex. Sign of stroke -FAST
F -facial drooping
A -arm weakness
T -time to call 911
Or... DR. TIM to administer medication
D -Right Dosge
R -Right Route
T -Right Time
I - Right Individual/person
M -Right Medication

The search function provides a wealth of information like this 7 page thread about mnemonics.
My favorite mnemonic is for teaching heart sounds
"All Physicians Take Money " (aortic pulmonic tricuspid mitral).
awesome!
thank you so much. For some reason creating flashcards with triggers and making up sentences helps the information stick but I had trouble trying to incorporate nursing interventions etc

Try putting the word into the Search feature here; I KNOW there are some really good threads on this! I posted some of my faves a few years ago and I bet with a little searching you'll find LOTS. :)
.....and if I'd read Maggie's post first, LOL, I'm sure I would have saved myself the trouble
thanks!!
quick question there is no acronym or mnemonic care plans books available are they?
