MJC allnurses 2021

Hello guys! I am making this post so that we can talk about our application process ? I have not seen any other post regarding MJC 2021 application period. How are you guys holding up? Any new time applicants?

I think 83 pts should be okay this year. That is a great score!

I selected that I had over 1000 hours completed because I counted up my hours on my stubs and I counted a little over that & when I had my work fill the paper out they said no that I only had 989 hours completed. That some hours (meetings, in service, etc) “don’t count” so I was so upset

I applied to MJC, but my score is only 80pts. I will be doing the CNA program in the Summer and may consider to apply to CSU Stan in the fall. For Stan I have 96 pts.

Wow that is great! Yeah getting your CNA will definitely help with points ! I will also be applying to Stan! If I don’t get accepted I’m going to find a way to retake micro Bc I got an 88% in the class. And I’m losing out on 5 easy points!

That is a great plan. I do believe 83 pts will be good! I know the waiting does not help as well.

Yess!! Hopefully we both get in! My friend got in last year and she says they told her they might be accepting a little more students this time compared to last year!

I hope so too! If they accept more that would be amazing. I am just hoping I get accepted, but if not I will work as a CNA and re apply and look into Stan. I just get little upset because I am another year older.

Yess I feel the same exact way! I keep thinking that I could’ve been halfway done already but instead I’m just waiting. It’s so discouraging, but it will be all worth it in the end..

I know the exact feeling, but its not about how you start its about finishing. It will pay off in the long run. Until then just stay positive and hope for the best.
