Pay difference for ssm vs bjc??

U.S.A. Missouri

I will be graduating in a year with my BSN and I've spoken to some nurses at work saying that SSM pays better than BJC.

I find some truth to that because I work at a BJC facility as a PCT making $9.75/hr (No raises) with a summer externship starting at $10.50/hr.. A friend of mine works as a PCT at a SSM facility making $13/hr (with raises) and has a summer externship making $16/hr and will be sticking with that pay until graduating.

We both started during the summer time this year but I make much less without any raises!

Would pay be that much different when we're both nurses??

I can't say for sure, I don't work for either of those but I do know that my graduating class went off into many directions after passing nclex and we all started at about the same. New grad pay is pretty much across the board no matter what hospital you choose, at least that has been my experience. I have a close friend who started at SSM and she makes what I do at a private hospital. Of course if you have some PCT experience you can use that for a bump in pay over new grad pay. Another friend of mine had 15 years PCT experience, started at the same hospital as myself but made $2 more and I came in with NO experience.
