Mississippi boards and a misdemeanor

Published

So I’m a first year, second semester nursing student. I have a clean record until today.. I was running late for school and speeding, I got stopped and ticketed for speeding and reckless driving. I’m not worried about the speeding, but I am worried about the reckless driving as in MS it’s a misdemeanor and while no drugs/alcohol/injuries were involved, I am worried it will prevent me from taking the boards next Summer. I cannot find anywhere about Mississippi boards and their stance on issues like this.  Has anyone had any similar experience? Should I get legal help to lessen the charge?

Would definitely consult with lawyer. Best wishes
