Missed Scheduled Excelsior Exam - Pearson Vue......do I have refund option?

Has anyone erroneously missed their scheduled exam and was successful in getting a reschedule of the exam without charge? I was scheduled to do my HD exam on Friday but in my mind I knew that I rescheduled for Tuesday the 24th. I have no idea what happen all I know is today I went into PearsonVue for possible another reschedule and to my shock, the exam was not showing in my scheduled list. Instead it was reporting NO SHOW on Fri 20th. I have been on medication the past 2 weeks which has had me really in lala land, don't know if I thought I made the changes or if the drugs in my body as affected my perception. In any case, do you all think this could make my case with Excelsior/PearsonVue? Please give me your thoughts on this? I just can't afford to lose $250!!! Thanks.

You are SOL! Sorry! I did the SAME THING and was HORRIFIED to find out I had lost the $250. I guess maybe you can try and schmooze your advisor to see if he can do anything for you but I doubt it! Been there, done that, and will NEVER do it again!

I lost my money when I missed exams. I would plead my case if I were you. It might work.

Ouch! Sorry to hear about this! One of the members warned me about this happening when I kept rescheduling LS2 a few weeks ago. No fun!

Thank yot all for your input! Tomorrow morning can't come soon enough for me. I think I will call PearsonVue first to find out if they can look at my activity history.....I'm sure I rescheduled this because I recently had surgery and was having complications so I knew about 5 days ahead of my exam that I couldn't take it on Friday and I know I went in (my account) and changed it. Have no idea what went down!!! If this doesn't fly with PearsonVue I will use the "under Dr.'s care card" and follow thru with Excelsior too. I just won't let this go that easy, I'm already struggling to get thru this!!! Will let you all know the outcome! Thanks.

Goodnews......I finally got a decision from EC testing Dept. They have reviewed my case after i submitted a DR,s note and has decided to allow me to reschedule my exam. I am soooooooooooo glad that they did!

I am now rescheduled to take my exam on Friday. It pays to be persistent and NEVER give up! ALSO.....there's always an EXCEPTION to every rule!
