So I was sent away today (June 25, 2015) due to insufficient ID issues, the notice didn't specify to bring EVERY piece of ID if you're testing at a foreign site. I brought everything (green card, driver's license, SSN, state ID) BUT the passport. And I can't go back even though the location is a 30-minute drive away, the crippling traffic made it 1 - 2 hours to get there. My eligibility from CA BVNPT is still good through October 20, 2015.
I have no qualms about paying the fees again, because it's really my fault for not bringing every piece of ID that I had to the test site.
The question is, is my eligibility forfeited even though the expiration is October 20,2015? or is it only the ATT that is forfeited?
And when and how will I be able to re-schedule an appointment to re-take the exam?
I already contacted BVNPT and Pearson Vue, just gonna see what you guys think while waiting for a reply.

You forfeit the ATT & fee:
https://www.ncsbn.org/1218.htm
MISSING AN EXAM APPOINTMENT
If you fail to arrive for the exam appointment or fail to reschedule/unschedule without giving the appropriate notice, you will forfeit your exam fee (and scheduling fee if applicable) and your ATT will be invalidated. You will be required to reregister and pay another exam fee. Failure to take the exam will be noted in your registration as an incident report which will be viewable by your board of nursing/regulatory body
"IDENTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
When you arrive at the test center, you will be required to present one form of acceptable identification. If you arrive at the test center without acceptable identification, you will be turned away and required to reregister and pay another exam fee. If you paid the additional international scheduling fee, that will be forfeited as well." Source: https://www.ncsbn.org/1221.htm
I get that I forfeit the ATT and fee. But do I forfeit the eligibility as well even though it's still good through Oct 20?
And how many days do I have to wait before I can re-register?
Yes you forfeit the ATT as well. You must reapply to bvnpt at a cost of $150 and also re register at Pearson Vue. There shouldn't be a delay as you did not test. The only acceptable ID overseas is a passport
The ATT is the eligibility
UPDATE:
Checked my profile in pearson and it already shows "No Show" (checked > 12 hours after scheduled appt)
Tried to re-register and it went through. Paid the fee ($200) and got the usual email after you register. I'm now waiting for the ATT to be emailed or if CA BVNPT will request any additional stuff.
Still waiting for CA BVNPT and Pearson to reply to my earlier emails. =p

You need to reapply to CABVNPT. Per their website you need to complete the paperwork and pay $150. You shouldnt have to resubmit transcripts, etc. Pearson Vue will only tell you to reregister and pay again as you forfeited your ATT & registration fee by not having your passport as ID at an overseas testing center.

Hi, I would like to know what's the update in this case? How were you able to resolve this issue? Did you pay the same amount as if you're taking the exam for the very first time? Thanks in advance and hoping for your reply.
so what I did after was:
1. Contact BoN/BVNPT about the missed appointment
2. You will receive a new application form (it was orange for me) and pay the application fee again (150$ or depending on your state).
3. You have to wait until they send you a new ATT.
4. Re-register to Pearson Vue for a new appointment (you have to pay registration fees again)
Basically, you will repeat all the steps when you first applied minus the paperworks you sent them before (transcripts, etc.)
So it means we need to pay for everything with the same price again? and did you wait long to receive the new ATT?
Thank you so much for the quick reply btw! This has been a common issue and thank you so much for providing detailed information!

Yes. You forfeit all fees if you miss your appointment. BVNPT charges $150 each attempt. And when you pass $150 licensing fee. Pearson Vue is $200 per attempt whether you fail or forget to show up.
I see, thank you for the reply and information.
