It was the 16th and not the 23rd like I thought. The money sucks but I'm over it, but why the hell is my ATT invalidated and now I have to wait 4-5 days to get a new ATT then HOPE there is a open date to take my NCLEX next week which I'm pretty damn sure there won't be.
What state are you in? That may be why it is different...Have you called and talked to your board of nursing?
Im in michigan
monday I cant call till monday i dont think.
I only found this under "missed exam"
"If you fail to arrive for their examination appointment or fail to reschedule/unschedule without giving the appropriate notice, you will forfeit their examination fee (and scheduling fee if applicable) and your ATT letter will be invalidated. You will be required to reregister and repay the examination fee of $200. Your failure to take their examination will be noted in your registration as an incident report which will be viewable by your board of nursing."
doesnt mention the 45 day wait period for ATT or not.
Oh okay...well I am here in California... Is this from the Pearson site or the nscbn...either way I am sure you should have most of your questions answered on monday when you talk to someone from your BON...hopefully they won't give you the run around like with me n my friend..we had to talk to like 5 different people or more

what i put was from NCBSN.org I coudnt find the place where CCRN_Marie quoted from.
Then why is there so much money to be made by them giving it and offering study material/classes/books/courses.If it was purely about the public, the test itself should be free. But this is off topic and a whole separate debate.
The fact is that even with this test incompetent nurses still roam around and are risking the lives of many by doing so. How would you feel if someone who received their RN license cheated their way through school and you know it? How do you feel if that same person is taking care of your sick daughter/son?
Despite many safeguards to our profession, mistakes happen and people die. Writing the test is not cheap, the CAT program is not cheap, the whole system is not cheap. The system is not perfect. It has it flaws. It is immature to blame the system for your mistake. We, as nurses, have to own up to our mistakes so that we don't repeat it again and learn from it.

unique circumstances while living at home, a whole bunch of things piling up stress wise. Lets call it "failure to thrive" Apologize for not controlling my emotions here.
If a person takes the test and fails sure wait 45 days i sort of understand, though personally i don't understand that reasoning either.
IF someone misses their test for whatever reason improper ID etc, then waiting 45 days is simply backward and serves no actual purpose to benefit anyone involved...
why is this edited into one sloppy paragraph?
