  1. Yeah they want us to use it as a primary...so for instance if we already had a primary just get a double primary pump...
  2. A new policy at our hospital states that we cannot piggyback zosyn ...this may be a dumb question (I am a brand new nurse so bear with me) but WHY NOT? WHY CAN'T WE? Please let me hear your reason. THANK YOU ALL!
  3. Frat and foremost...The Pearson Vue trick works!!! Yes it does! You know what that means!!! I passed my nclex exam!!!Woo hoo!!! I am finally a nurse!!! So guess what was my problem was!!?! It was a transcript issue that the BON had been at fault for! Can you believe that..an 8day wait...man oh man the anxiety I went through...Well it is in the past...and now I gotta go job searching! Thanks everyone who posted I appreciate it
  4. I'm in California...idk how long I'm going to have to wait ...alot of my friends have sen their name on the board of nursing within a few days
  5. Speaking of going nuts i am going freakin nuts...i took my nclex last monday...3/12/12... I did the pearson vue trick and got the pop up we want it's been 6 days for me! I want to know what is going on with my results...what is the longest time anyone has heard an exam taker have to wait? Good luck!
  6. Omg! You have only waited one day!Normally they take any where from 2-4 business days...which means Friday isnst counted and Saturday is day one...today wouldn't be counted as I understand that Sunday's are not days of operation...if you passed and every thing is in the clear you should get your name up on the board by Monday or Tuesday the latest...have you done the Pearson view trick?
  7. Oh okay...well I am here in California... Is this from the Pearson site or the nscbn...either way I am sure you should have most of your questions answered on monday when you talk to someone from your BON...hopefully they won't give you the run around like with me n my friend..we had to talk to like 5 different people or more
  8. What state are you in? That may be why it is different...Have you called and talked to your board of nursing?
  9. Your ATT is sent to you from the board not from Pearson... You have to reapply to the board by paying the $150 to get your att...then you will pay the $200 to Pearson.. But if u already payed Pearson you probably only have to pay the board only now and reapply
  10. I thought the first reply didn't go through ..obviously I am not a robot if I am typing to you ...
  11. Know your precautions... Contact, airborne, droplet... Know as much as you can about it...Attempt as many priority type questions as you possibly can ... Not easy ones either that ask about protecting airway .. That is too obvious ... Something challenging where almost all options seem nearly stable and your really killin your brain THINKING CRITICALLY...know your lab values, EKG strips and important landmarks....GOOD LUCK!!!
  12. A similar thing happened to my friend.. He was scheduled the 29th of february ...He got a no show... And after many hours of talking to the board and Pearson we were told that he needs to reapply and pay the $150 for the application... It is now march 17th and still there is no sign of the att...we thought because the board already had his info it would be a speedier process but it seems not... Once hers his ATT he will have to pay the $200 again for the test... It a yucky situation... But all you can do is pay and wait...GOOD LUCK!!!
  13. Same thing happened to my best friend... He was scheduled to take it february the 29th... And he Had problems with his name not matching his ATT and pretty much missed his date and got a no show... After many hours of discussing his issue with the board and pearson...We found out that he needs to reapply to the board, and yes pay the $150 for the application ... It's now march 17th and he still hasn't gotten his new ATT
  14. So just now a friend sends me this from another thread...MORE HOPE???Praise the Lord, this works 100%!! I took the NCLEX on 2/5/2011 in CA, had 75 questions and left the test center absolutely certain I had not passed. I came home and tried to re-register right away and then again about 20 times for the next 4 days and then I tried every day for the next 17 days! I was never able to get to the credit card page that accepted payment. I was in limbo for 18 days!! I checked the CA State Board of Nursing Website everyday looking for my name on the license verification site and folks today it was there!! I made it!! I was told by several other new RNs that they all tried this too and it worked for them. They also verified that for those who had not passed it, would allow them to go straight to the payment and re-register. So I am here to tell you after 18 longs days, I am and RN. I had agonized like everyone else, taken the test, came home in a panic, tried to re-register, read all the blogs and wondered... is this really reliable? Well I am here to tell you*
  15. The only thing is that it has been officially 4 days and my friend that took the exam two days after mine got her name up on the board this am ... Unfortunately in California the $8 quick results is not an available option for me...My last hope is that supposedly the board randomly picks exams to review that should lead to a extended wait time...It has came down to me just having to wait...wait for the 2-4weeks for some snail mail from the board...
