missed class

Well I missed class due to dropping off bf at work. We can only miss 12 hours in 2 semesters and then your out I feel doomed now. He knew the rules of class he knows I'll be kicked out. What if my car breaks down or a flat tire I'm so depressed any advice.

My boyfriends car broke down 2 weeks ago I totally feel you. Sometimes this forum can be a little abrasive lol. my BF works at 6pm which is same time I have to be to class. We leave at 430pm he gets to his job by 5pm and sits in the break room until 6. Meanwhile I make it to class with time to spare. Try working out a plan like so. Stay positive. Your not kicked out yet. :)

Whoa whoa whoa I think this thread has gotten out of hand I wish I could shut it down in not leaving him stuff happens and now we know that if it takes getting him up earlier to have time to get going then fine I can't take back what's already happened in docked 6 hours suck it up and keep pushing foward

I agree that it is a bit much to advise you to break up with you BF. However, you asked for advice and, well, you got it--even if you might not like it.

Not that you want my advice too, but here it goes: similar to what most others have said, this is your education and your future that we are talking about. Act like it. If you have to give your BF a ride, tell him--"we are leaving at X:XX tomorrow. If you are not in the car at that time, I have to leave without you." He is an adult--as such, he can meet these requirements; if he can't meet them for whatever reason, he, as an adult, can find a way to get to work. Put some of the responsibility on him--and be excited when he rises to the occasion.
