For those of you who got accepted, congratulations!! How exciting for you!!

and a question..... how much time are you given to let them know if you are accepting or declining the spot? Most I am sure will accept! Such a great school!

Just making sure I understand correctly. You can apply without having the chem and statistics course as long as you complete it by the time you start?

That is my understanding! I took a biochemistry before applying but it sounds like you can do the classes after acceptance to the program.

Hello guys…. I recently got an interview set up for the 2023 DNP cohort and I am nervous about the interview. I have read a few comments that it’s not clinical based, but did anyone get clinical based questions? I’m usually a nervous wreck when it comes to interviews due to my anxiety.

any tips/interview heads up would be appreciated. Thank you.

No clinical questions! It was comfortable and laid back. It was in person so you meet with some of their professors and directors in a panel interview. They asked some behavioral questions, like how would you respond to negative feedback from a preceptor, or what is a time you made a mistake and how you responded. They went over their program costs first and some other tidbits about the program before jumping into the questions.  They want to know a bit about your life outside of work too, like they asked about what my hobbies were and about my husband.

Relax and be yourself! Always so much easier said than done!

@sj94, thank you sooo much for your feedback!!? I truly appreciate it so so much. That makes me feel so much at ease now.

I applied this application cycle, and was accepted into the 2022 DNP program starting next year!

I also was accepted to the DNP program! Have you taken grad statistics? Have you heard anything about the start of the program yet?
