Midwestern University CRNA Applicants - 2024

Super nervous! Midwestern University is officially the first school I have truly submitted to and hoping to get in. 

Stats: 

  • 6 years ICU: neuro, trauma, surgical, medical 
  • GPA 3.83 with some grad level courses 
  • Science GPA is about 3.5- so a little low

I know applicants from a few years ago who literally never heard ANYTHING in response. They are infamous for this amongst applicants. I am just assuming that no word by March is a "no".

I also just got a waitlist email this morning. Anyone know if people usually come off waitlist or if that usually translates to a no.

I still haven't heard anything and it's been more than a month for me. If I don't hear anything back by March, then I'm just going to assume that's a no from them :(

I got a waitlist to interview last cycle, but never heard anything back after that.

Withdrew my application d/t being accepted elsewhere. Hopefully this opens up a spot for an interview for someone else.

Applied 1/29, got an interview invite 2/16. Will have to decline cos it's an in person interview in another state and I already got accepted to a program. Hopefully, this gives another applicant a spot.
