Midwestern University CRNA Applicants 2024

Super nervous! Midwestern University is officially the first school I have truly submitted to and hoping to get in. 

Stats: 

  • 6 years ICU: neuro, trauma, surgical, medical 
  • GPA 3.83 with some grad level courses 
  • Science GPA is about 3.5- so a little low

Science GPA - 4.0

BSN GPA - 4.0

cGPA - 3.84

1.5 years in combined med/surg/CV ICU - listed procedures/surgeries I've cared for - CRRT, endarectomies, CABG, etc

Shadowing/volunteer/honors research 

Preceptor/unit council/charge nurse

CCRN

Also listed educational & professional awards I've received in resume

never received an email but when I checked my MW account, I found out that I was invited for an interview. There are only May 6 & 9 left. They will interview 10 people each day, so about 110 people for 36 spots. Good luck everyone!

Just got an email that I have been added to the waitlist to interview. Applied 1/22 (after the application said it was closed, oops).

 
2yrs in Level 1 Trauma Center in MICU with training in SICU, CTICU. Code Blue Team. Two unit based councils. EBP project x2. CCRN. Diversity CRNA events. 48 hours shadowing.

3.77 science GPA 

3.83 last 60 units GPA

Just realized this thread was here. My nerves led me to Google, which brought me here! 
I applied 1/16, transcripts were finalized 1/24 and got the waitlist email  2/20. Congratulations and good luck to everyone!
