midwestern state university spring 2012

I was just wondering if anybody else has applied to Midwestern State University for Spring 2012??

If so, have you guys heard anything yet?!

@ raiza67 I called the school on Monday, got accepted but they have not sent out any letters out yet. I have to attend two orrientation sessions, regular and for nursing program, I guess. I still dont have an idea where am going to live. If you have any info for room n board, please pass on any info.....

Congrats CNga, Yes I have been talking to Leanclassic on here and she says that apartments off campus are much more affordable but I am still debating on my options i will let you know

Ok let give u the full detail on the school website room and board= abot 2910 per semester. but staying in the apartment

in the apartment we pay 250 per month= 1250

electricity bill highest 50 per month= 250

feeding 80/month = 400

internet = 40

total =1940(gas will not be up to 900 dollars a semester so u still save some money from living out of school, u get it now?

Remember that the 2910 per semester for room and board does not include your personal expenditures.

thanks I was doing that earlier and definitely i agree the school is expensive because the meal plan aparently is weekly which is also expensive so i was looking up apartments closer to MSU i found French quater , The grove ( which is great furnished its like a campus apartment imagine a 3 br/ 3 Ba for only $483 monthly with all included such as cable, internet, and utility up to $30 for electricity) That"s a deal so i will call them the best one guess i'll go with it.,Colony Park , bRentwood . Yea i do get it now so internet is per semester ? But anyways you are right its less expensive did you have to buy a bed or your friend got one that you share how did you do for the moving tho? Please let me know so i can think of what i will need

Am just gonna take a twin size bed from my house but my dad said he will find a way for us to get it up there cus WF is just like 2 hours from my house, also i cannot share with my friend cus i am getting my own room and bathroom. i dont know if we will use a truck or smth. but i already bought most of my stuff.

Best friend Stays in the Grove, and I have plenty of people who live on the on campus apartments,if yall have specific questions about those, I can definitely help you out as well. Thats good you are prepared.@ Prettyladie , What is the advantage of living in French quater what does rent covers, what is included, versus Grove which seems like an off campus apartments for student I just wanna make sure they say it is fully furnished and all what exactly do they provide seems like they match up room mate i saw a 3 bed room with 3 bathrom at a reasonable price of around $400 but again is it per person monthly or everyone altogether. Phone lines, dining room, living rooms , bed room , internet , cable , bed room furnitures how are they furnished. Thank you
