Hi!
I was just wondering if anybody else has applied to Midwestern State University for Spring 2012??
If so, have you guys heard anything yet?!
Thanks!
Okay guys this is officially my Alma Mater! I walked yesterday :) so I should have more time to answer questions. I know a user PM me about clinicals for 2 semester. When I went through we had clinicals at Texas Specialty Hospital but it was only once a week. It was a group of us, we went from 645 to 1. I think that window you mentioned from 645 to 1845 is half are now going mornings and the other are afternoon, we didn't have the option to pick we only did days...and also you will have sims which is now bringing your skills such as insulin injections subqs IMs etc..
Congrats Prettyladie you have done well for yourself. good luck and God's blessings thru your career life. was gonna ask you if i can hand in my acceptance letter personally or do i have to mail it? and where or to who? cus it took long to get to me so i dont wanna mail given the fact that the deadline is the 16th of dec.
I would just keep calling. I handed mine in person, so I didn't have to worry about it getting lost in the mail.
Yes I guess that's what I will do then, I left my name and contact on the voice mail too to contact me back and my ID for the school so she can check. By the way how was graduation ceremonial
inresponse to your questions about midwestern state university in wichita falls, texas, i would say the following:
a portion of the faculty does not practice what it teaches. for example:several of them put great emphasis on critical thinking -- but do not thinkcritically about their teaching at all.
this nursing program definitely places quantity over quality. this is not justevident in their instruction, but some of the faculty actually told me thisdirectly.
i havefound some of the instruction in this program to be the worst instruction ihave ever had. before you decide to attend this nursing program you shouldactually talk with some of its present students or recent graduates.
i do not mean to sound too negative -- just telling it like it is.
