Midwestern CRNA 2022

Updated:   Published

I created this forum for nurses applying to Midwestern University's CRNA program starting in 2022.

Let's do this!

Any body got an invite lately? Are there any open dates for interviews? When are they interviewing?

I was told my app was still in the “review” phase and would hopefully hear something this week.

There are still 6 or so spots available for interviews. 4 in person 2 virtual. Good luck you guys. I have my interview first day oct19th in the morning. Looking forward to meeting some of you there....

When I got my invite two or three weeks ago the available slots were in person in November and online in December. I think it’s rolling admissions from what I gather from previous admission cycles—so I think the people with October interviews might be accepted before the December people interview but I could be wrong. I have an in person interview 11/09.

Interesting to see how that all works. I also interview 11/09 in person.  Hopefully we will meet on that day! What have you been doing to prepare?

OMG hayyyy I’ll probably see you there! I paid for a mock interview with Bolt CRNA and I’ve been learning from CRNA Prep Academy-I’m now brushing up on pharm reviewing CCRN content & fine tuning emotional intelligence questions. I have a couple of interviews 10/20-11/09–insane we could have acceptances like a month from now! How crazy! I’m so excited. IDK how to message people outside of the app but I’d be happy to grab some food with ya after interviews!

I also did a mock interview which I feel helped a lot. I have interview at Bloomsburg/Geisinger online and now have a second follow up with them in two weeks that is in person. I will have to check up on CRNA prep academy though. I have been hitting CCRN stuff pretty hard too. You can find me on FB or IG at Jason G Brown (Jbrownie83) and we can for sure connect and help each other out. I have a good friend who is at MW right now that just started in June.

Does anyone know how long after interview will they let us know if you got accepted or not?

My friend who got in was called about 2 hours after his interview!

Highly recommend CRNA prep academy. I am interviewing this Tuesday, do you know MW's interview style and are they clinical heavy?

I do not know how they go it. I would imagine it is a little of both.   I am just preparing for it all. I am actually doing CRNA prep academy now. I really like it.
