I created this forum for nurses applying to Midwestern University's CRNA program starting in 2022.

Let's do this!

Come with me to CA to travel-rates are great and so are ratios! And good luck to all of us ❤️

I signed for a contract in Phoenix, AZ. My hubby is in school until March, so I am just taking contracts in AZ. However, after that I am ready for anywhere. LOL. I probably will go to MI, but I do want to take one in Cali at some point.

I'm always worried about getting taxed crazy when travel nursing but I've been thinking about taking a contract recently.

It’s worth it. Yes you pay more taxes but you also make triple-I’ve been fortunate to pay down loans and start saving for school!

Nice! We may be down in AZ for the Winter-love mountain biking and I see some great contracts!

The winters in AZ are amazing! I bet these rates will continue too. The hospitals here are hurting for nurses and we are just going to get busier when the Winter visitors come back. It'll be a good time to come here for sure!

I live in AZ and I've been applying for contracts through AYA for a few weeks and my recruiter said nothing is moving in AZ right now.

Maybe I’ll see y’all around in a few months!

I have tried multiple times to work with that company and I really dislike how they operate. Try Triage. There are PLENTY of contracts in AZ, but I feel like Aya just has so many people that you get pushed to the side.

Good to know I was wondering if that might be the problem. Thank you!

Welcome! Valleywise has the highest rates other than Banner right now. I would look into that one. I’ll be starting there in a couple of weeks

I didn't get the email for the interview but when I went to the actual school website it showed that I have been invited to the interview. So some of you should go check the website just to be sure. The interview date range from mid-October to mid-December. Good luck!

Hey! Just curious, where did you see this? Under the interview scheduling tab?

@Raiderpower  so you’ve been checking the website and that’s how you found out about the invite? Still no email?
Out of curiosity, when did you turn in your application? I turned mine in back in April ?

Yes, I have been checking the email and the website every day. I turned in mine on July 24th and No I still haven't received the email. but I did get the confirmation email when I scheduled my interview on the website.
