Which is such an odd concept, but I am close haha, 4 more to go I believe!
There are housing options on the app they gave us access to. It’s specifically all Midwestern students so you could room up with people in different degrees. My friend who is in the program now lives with 3 other Midwestern students (all studying different degrees) in a big house and it’s working out well for her! She found the housing through the app.

Hi, I am also coming from out of state. I don't want to buy all new furniture. Do you know if there are furnished apartments available near campus? I asked someone from student services and he told me there are not any furnished apartments in the area. Is that true? That seems so weird to me especially with graduate students around.

If you have a facebook look on some of the travel nurse housing websites. They usually offer furnished places and I’m sure would be happy to offer it to a grad student.

That is a little odd specifically due to such a big graduate student population. I would be possibly looking for furnished apartments or home for rent as well.

I am from Macomb, but I work in Detroit. I've lived in MI since the age of 8 and this will be my first time leaving here (outside of vacations across the world) in 22 years.
