From what I know these are the classes that most people don’t proceed through the program. All I can think to do for now is learn the amino acids and review basic Chemistry principles that relate. I haven’t done O-Chem so Im trying to get ahead start. Anyone take any biochemistry or O-chem classes and have an old syllabus that I can use as a guide?
All the advice that I have gotten is to enjoy this time off before school starts. They will teach us what we need to know. If you are really worried though you could take a course ahead of time.

Agree with this! Having seen this program up close and personal I would say enjoy your time.. spend time with your friends and family, maybe try and take a little vacation (covid permitting!), read for leisure or whatever hobby you have! Soon all of our lives will be consumed with anesthesia school. Exciting!
but I think if you really wanted to do something the biochemistry basics stuff could be useful. But I know several people with no o chem background that were able to be successful. I have no o chem background! I’m winging it haha!
Of course I am unable to even write a PM because I do not have enough posts..? I am so new to this! Email me I guess, if that is alright.

I have heard this a whole lot too, just save money and enjoy as much free time that you have because there will be minimal of it once the program has started.

Hi, we are completely swapping climates out :), I am moving from MI. I have just did very little research apartment wise online, would rather have someone guide me that is from AZ, and would like living in near distance of school and people who are within the program.

I might add that I am super excited and nervous at the same time!
