I have a super relaxed fall semester so far. I applied for nursing school to start Jan 2014 so super anxious about that. At times I wish I'd taken more classes to get my mind off of my nursing school application and acceptance/rejection letter :/

I am struggling with applied statistics=( It is my last prerequisite, so I am quite stressed about it. I am disappointed that I get the material and do well on my homework, yet my professor's exams just shred me. I don't think I did well at all this last exam=(

How do you study for stats?

Hello I am taking the class online so we have to do homework, test, and quizzes on my stat lab. It breaks down each problem step by step and my professor has youtube links and calculator tutorials posted for each section. I also use these sites when I'm stuck

It's very scary honestly. Our professor made a comment that they are all dropping like flies. She does assign a lot of work though but as a professor she is fair and I can tell that she wants us all to succeed. I will stick it out though I have no choice.

Our next exams are early November (lab is the 4th, lecture is the 6th), and I spoke with my professor after class this past week and he said he's expecting even more people to drop after the second set of tests. And from what you and others are saying, it seems my class is a lot easier. We only have to do certain lab exercises, there are no quizzes, and then the exams...that's it. So I have no idea what's going on.

Wow that does sound a lot easier. We have block scheduling at our university so we only meet once a week for about 4 hours. In that time we go over a lecture and a lab. Also every session we have a "quiz" which is more like a test because it's about 55 questions and a combo of multiple choice, matching, fill in the blanks, and short essay questions. For homework she usually assigns pages in the lab manual and a critical thinking excercise which is a mini case study/care plan. Next week we have an exam that covers chapters 6,7,8,9 and about 200 questions :dead:. I will take your class anyday lol
