Hello everyone, hope all is well. I wanted to know if anyone knew about middle georgia and their nursing program? So far, I've had 2 academic advisors refer me to middle georgia being that my schools nursing program is so hard to get into. So Im guessing middle georgia is not that competitive. I've seen stats from others and they were do able. But one thing I can see is the school farrrrrr. Also, do they only have Spring registration??

I'm 100% sure you got in! I applied with 82.3 on my TEAS and still made it. First semester we were there 2 days/week; 1 lecture day in class + 1 clinical day at the hospital. Second semester we were there 3 days/week; 1 lecture day + 2 clinical days. I'm doing my third semester this upcoming fall so I don't know the exact schedule yet. In terms of lectures, you will find certain professors will teach and resonate with you depending on your learning style. I definitely have my favorites. Once entering second semester you'll have pre-recorded lecture videos or voiced over powerpoints to watch and listen to outside of class. These helped me the most in understanding and reinforcing the materials.
@Ozzie Wolters are you referring to the informational sessions? I spoke with Mrs. Higgs yesterday and she said by the end of the month. I'm praying I was selected. I inquired about them extending the deadline until November. If it's my time I'll get accepted. Are you currently a nursing student?
@Ozzie Wolters so you attended the informational session? Is that what you're referring to. I attended one a few weeks ago as well if so. I hope tomorrow noon is indeed true! I'm anxious.
