Hello all!

I was just accepted to the upcoming Fall cohort and I have a question. With everything going on with Covid, has the Spring cohort started clinicals? Are you all still doing classes remote? Thanks for your time!

Hi! First, congratulations! The program is really awesome.

We have not started clinicals yet, but the plan is to be back doing clinicals and in-person classes during our module 4, which begins August 24th! Hope this helps, please reach out with any other questions!:)

Does the program last longer than a year if you’re not able to do clinicals? Do you have to make them up later, or what do they do as a replacement?

The school & admin have been working really hard in my opinion to make sure we graduate on time and get good experience! We are still on track to graduate at the end of Feb. 2021. Our clinical experiences have been substituted with online clinical activities and "critical thinking assignments" (like care-plan making, chart evaluations, etc.) If you would be comfortable sharing your email with me I can send you some examples of what thats looked like!

We will not make up the hours we have missed - those assignments do count for clinical hours though. The vast majority of clinical hours take place in modules 3-6, so we will still get a lot!

Can any current or former students answer when the drug test is? First week of class?

@aklb465 I will not spend near that amount, but I suppose some people might. I am renting books and not buying them. A friend gifted me a stethoscope. I only bought two pairs of scrubs and I got them on sale, haha! I also had most of my immunizations. On a side note, start gathering proof of immunizations now, and if you are missing any try to get them before you start classes.

All that to say it might be good to plan on $5000, but know you may not need it all. I hope that helps. ?

Hi I was accepted to the Spring 2021 cohort. I was wondering if you could give me an idea of what immunizations you had to have? I asked the coordinator Tammy, all she informed me was that it had to be done by Module 2.

I would like to get those done with my doctor while I'm still in my state.
